Phil Barone and The Cruisers are a Jim Morrison Tribute Band - Jim is “Back from the Desert”.

 

This unique tribute features nine amazingly talented local musicians consisting of Pat McDonagh on lead guitar, Pistol Pete Robinson on drums, Mikey Blue Barone on harp, Andrew Struve on bass, Zane Babylon on keyboard, Phil Barone as Jim, with an accomplished horn section led by John Grafing on horn, Bob Huff on trombone, and Andrew Ewing on sax.

 

The Jim Morrison Tribute band plays all of The Doors greatest hit songs like "Light My Fire", "People Are Strange", and "Break On Through". Plus a handful of Doors songs only die hard fans will remember.

Phil Barone has played all over NW Ohio and has packed the house in Put-in-Bay, Ohio for over 14 years.  Plus he has opened up for national acts including Foghat, Thin Lizzy, and Jefferson Starship.

Phil Barone and The Cruisers are a special tribute band because they give all proceeds from their concerts to different charities. Over the past few years they have been working with the nonprofit art organization Unruly Arts.

Most of their shows have lights and special effects by Wet Sun Light Show.
